Top rankedSakers (28-12) recorded its twelfth loss in Incheon on Tuesday night. Visitors were edged by tenth ranked Daegu (12-27) 72-71 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sakers. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Ricardo Ratliffe (203-1989, college: Missouri) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds. The former international forward Seung-Min Shin (195-1998) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Daegu players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) who recorded a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 19 rebounds, 10 assists and 7 steals and guard In-Deok Jeong (196-1994) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Daegu moved-up to ninth place. Defending champion LG Sakers still keep top position with 12 games lost. Daegu are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Seoul Thunders (#10) at home in the next round. LG Sakers will play against Wonju DB (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
